Interpretations

Interpretations which I perform might be simultaneous (in a soundproof cabin or outside, used at conferences, negotiations, training, presentations, board meeting, etc) - interpretation simultaneously with the original speech, whispered (interpretation in real time whispered to one person or a small group), or consecutive (done without specialist equipment - speaker delivers a few sentences and then pauses whilst the consecutive interpreter repeats what has just been said.)

Interpretation might also be sworn/certified. It takes place whenever a foreigner appears in state institutions such as a notary’s office, police station, court, registry office.

Work and remuneration conditions for interpretations are also defined: work hours are counted from the time the service was ordered for. All brakes for he members of the meeting or conference are included in the interpreter’s work hours.

It is strongly advised to provide the interpreter with supplementary materials on the subject of the meeting prior to the service to assure enough time for the interpreter to prepare properly.

If the meeting takes place outside of the interpreter's office Client is obliged to cover the cost of transport and eventual accommodation and board of the interpreter.  Interpreting is accounted for on the grounds of four-hour time periods.
